Ed's Camp was a roadside Route 66 attraction and a resting place for the weary traveler. Ed
originally arrived in the area as a miner in 1917, and in 1919 decided to build his camp out
of temporary aluminum siding, but business was so good that he never finished the building.
Located near Kingman in northwest Arizona, in a treacherous part of Route 66, the site is
amazingly still there, but is in disrepair.
