This is one of the earliest views of North Palm Canyon Drive, now downtown Palm Springs,
featuring the Stage and Store building, the Hotel La Palma and in the background,
Dr. Kocher's medical office (the area's first pharmacist) with the green roof. This block
later evolved, with Dr. Kocher's becoming the Village Pharmacy next to the Village Theater
and the Chi Chi.
